Abstract

Rangka kuda-kuda adalah konstruksi rangka batang yang merupakan pemikul utama konstruksi atap. Untuk memikul beban atap diperlukan konstruksi yang kokoh, tetapi untuk sebuah konstruksi yang kokoh tidak harus memiliki volume yang besar, untuk itu perlu dilakukan penelitian agar didapatkan jenis dan ukuran profil yang efisien. Dalam penelitian ini dilakukan analisa untuk mendapatkan jenis dan ukuran profil yang efisien, agar lebih mudah analisa tersebut dilakukan dengan bantuan program SAP 2000 dan program excel, dimana output dari program SAP 2000 akan menjadi input pada program excel. Dari penelitian ini didapat profil jenis siku sama kaki dengan ukuran batang atas 2L.80.80.10, batang bawah 2L.75.75.10 dan batang tegak/diagonal 2L.70.70.7. profil ini cukup efisien sebab memiliki volume dan deformasi yang kecil. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan pertimbangan dalam merencanakan suatu struktur rangka atap baja yang efisien. Kata kunci : rangka kuda-kuda, konstruksi atap, program SAP 2000, program excel
