Abstract

This research entitled "Socialization of plastic bag movemen t movement in South Jakarta City (Study on Indonesian movement movement plastic bag community) (GIDKP). the problems taken in Jhis research is How to socialize plastic bag movement movement in South Jakarta City and What become obstacles in socialization plastic bag movement movement in South Jakarta City. The purpose of this re search is to analyze the socialization of diet plastic bag movement in South Jakarta and To analyze the obstacles in socialization of plastic bag diet in South Jakarta City. Thi s research is a qualitative research and describes the description data about the phenomenon being studied. The theory used is socialization theory by focusing the stages how to socialize. Data collection techniques are conducted in-depth interviews, observations and documentation are then analyzed using descriptive qualitative analysis method. The results of this study illustrate the process and implementation of the Indonesian Movement Diet Plastic Bag (GJDKP) community activity. The form of socialization ofGJDKP in raising public awareness for plastic bag diet is through the provision of environmentally friendly cloth bags to replace every society who was carrying plastic bags at the time of socialization at Jakarta HI roundabout, socialization to formal education institutions by making a race that can attract allention students to participate in plastic bag-feeding programs, and family familiarization. Increasing public awareness to care about the environment and diet of plastic bags should start from the previous self because people will more easily imitate if there is evidence. Therefore, GIDKP community invites people to wisely use plastic bags.
