Abstract

The Village Consultative Board (BPD) as the legislative body at the village level as well asthe representatives of the village community are given full authority to apply democratic culture at the village level, whether in the supervision of the Village Government, drafting village regulations as well as in the aspiration of village community aspirations. BP D is expected to be a political forum for villagers to convey ideas or ideas to be realized in development and policies in the village. This can be realized if the BP D as a legislative institution in the village, play an active role in terms of execution of duties and functions. The purpose of this study is to determine the performance BP D Village Burai Tanjung Batu District Ogan Ilir in accommodating community aspirations. This research uses qualitative research method with descriptive analysis technique. Data collection techniques used in this study are in-depth interviews, observation and documentation techniques. This research uses performance theory from Mahmudi which has five benchmarks that is input, process, output, outcome and impact. The results of this study indicate that the performance of Village Consultative Agency (BPD) Burai Village in accommodating community aspirations in the Village Burai not yet or less good because of 12 indicators, just there 3 indicators that have been met. Hopefully in the future, Village Administration Board (BPD) ofBurai Village can.further increase the activity of community aspiration shelter in Burai Village
