Abstract

The purpose of this research is to: 1. Describe the marketing channel of rubber materials through partnership channel and non partnership in Sukarena Village, Suka Karya District, Musi Rawas Regency. 2. Analyzing the level of marketing efficiency of each marketing channel of rubber ingredients in Sukarena Village, Suka Karya District, Musi Rawas Regency. 3. Analyzing the difference of rubber farmers' income following partnership and non-partnership in Sukarena Village, Suka Karya District, Musi Rawas Regency. This research was conducted in Sukarena Village, Sukakarya Sub-district, Musi Rawas Regency. Determination of this location is done intentionally with research method used is survey method. Data retrieval was conducted from November to December 2017. The sampling method used was an unbalanced random method. The data used are primary data and secondary data. Primary data was obtained through direct field interviews with sample farmers. While secondary data obtained from the office or related institutions. There is a long marketing chain difference between the two rubber marketing channels in Sukarena Village. The partnership channel consists of farmers, UPPB and processing plants. Non-partnership channels consist of farmers, collecting traders, wholesalers and processing plants. Based on the value of marketing margins, marketing and farmer's share gains obtained the partnership marketing channel is the most efficient. This is because this channel has the lowest marketing margin and profit margin and has the highest share of farmer's share compared to non-partnership marketing channels. The average income of farmers partnership of UPPB members is Rp 29,034,263 per hectare per year and the average non-partnership farmer income is Rp 24,837,612 per hectare per year, the higher farmers' income is 16.89 percent from non-partnership farmer's income
