Abstract

The aims of this research was to examine influence of giving biopriming to support growth of varieties of paddy inpari 30 under submergence stress. This research was conducted on February to April 2018 at Agriculture Faculty, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya. This Research used CRD (Complete Randomized Design) with 6 treatments dan 3 replications. The first treatment is uprimed with unsubmergence stress as control, and other 5 treatments were primed used microbe fertilizer with different concentrations (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%)and sow under submerged stress. The experiment at soaking tub on 14 DAS, the treatment with biopriming showed significant effect on seed germination, shoot length, root length, shoot wet weight, shoot dry weight, and shoot-root ratio; and on 21 DAS biopriming effect showed not significantly on all observed variables. In greenhouse, the biopriming showed significantly effected on germination, root length, shoot wet weight, root wet weight, shoot dry weight and root dry weight. Biopriming with 50% dosage had good effect on the germination and shoot dry weight more than 50% had unfavorable effect both in soaking tub and greenhouse.
