Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah: (1) Mengukur peranan lembaga Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) dalam kegiatan pembibitan tanaman karet di Kelurahan Tanjung Batu Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, (2) Mengukur tingkat perilaku petani karet peserta Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) dalam pembibitan tanaman karet di Kelurahan Tanjung Batu Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, (3) Menganalisis hubungan lembaga Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S) dengan perilaku petani karet dalam kegiatan pembibitan tanaman karet di Kelurahan Tanjung Batu Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kelurahan Tanjung Batu Kecamatan Tanjung Batu Kabupaten Ogan Ilir. Pemilihan lokasi dilakukan secara sengaja (purposive) dengan pertimbangan bahwa di Kelurahan Tanjung Batu terdapat petani karet yang mangikuti program Pusat Pelatihan Pertanian dan Pedesaan Swadaya (P4S). Selain itu lembaga P4S ini baru ada di Kabupaten Ogan Ilir, pengumpulan data di lapangan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni sampai dengan bulan Oktober 2009.
