Abstract

PT. Triaryani is a coal mining company in Indonesia located in North Musi Rawas district, South Sumatra. The area of the Mining Business Permit (IUP) owned by PT. Triaryani is 2143 hectares, its coal resource content is 330 million tons of coal, which is in the form of 20 million tons of inferred resources, 64 million tons of indicated resources and 246 million tons of measured resources. PT. Triaryani has two mining pit locations, namely the Rajawali pit and also the newly operating Betung pit. In 2022, at Rajawali pit, the coal going to stock ROM has a planned production target of 780,000 tons/year, while actual coal production is only 724.404 tons/year. The planned overburden target in 2022 is 1,440,000 BCM/year, while for actual stripping PT. Triaryani is 1.316.088 BCM/year. This shows that there is a difference between the planning target and the actual achieved, so it needs to be analyzed. The road geometry that does not comply with the standards of KEPMEN 1827 K 30 of 2018 may lead to the non-achievement of planned production targets. There are four road geometry factors, namely the width of transport road, cross slope, road slope and superelevation. PT Triaryani's actual width of transport road for coal transportation means on a one-way straight road is 5.6-7.3 meters, on a twoway straight road is 7.5-14.41 meters and on a bend road is 8.2-12 .4 meters. The overburden transportation means on a two-way straight road is 5.4-13.53 meters,x zUniversitas Sriwijaya while on a bend road it is 11.87-14.84 meters. PT Triaryani's radius and superelevation values are 61.16 meters for radius and 0.35-0.47 meters for superelevation of coal transportation means and 0.03-021 meters for superelevation of overburden transportation means. PT Triaryani's cross slope value is 0.01-0.15 meters for coal transportation means and 0.03-0.21 meters for overburden transportation means. The slope value of PT Triaryani's road for coal transportation means is -5.2-6.9% and for overburden transportation means is -6.5-10.3%. According to the measurements and observations, there are three road geometry factors that do not conform to the standards, namely the width of the transportation road, cross slope, and superelevation. After calculation, it turns out that the ideal road conditions will reduce the cycle time. Thus, the initial coal transportation means cycle time of 1035.44 seconds may be reduced to 924.62 seconds and the increase on productivity achievement to 107% may be achieved. On the other hand, overburden transportation means cycle time of 644.3 seconds may be reduced to 561.67 seconds and the increase on productivity achievement to 108% may be achieved.
