Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of applying liquid organic fertilizer to increase the growth and yield of hybrid corn (Zea mays L.). The research was conducted in Talang Kepuh, Gandus subdistrict, Palembang City, South Sumatra Province. The study started from September to December 2022. This study used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with 6 treatments and repeated 3 times, each repetition consisting of 3 plants. With doses of liquid organic fertilizer concentrations, namely V0 = without LOF Nasa fertilizer (0 ml/l), V1 = LOF Nasa 5 ml/l, V2 = LOF Nasa 10 ml/l, V3 = LOF Nasa 15 ml/l, V4 = LOF Nasa 20 ml/l, and V5 = LOF Nasa 25 ml/l. Parameters observed were plant height, number of leaves, stem diameter, flowering age, greenness of leaves, corn weight, corn length, number of corn, corn diameter, corn seed weight, weight of 100 seeds. Analysis of diversity used the ANOVA test and continued with the 5% BNT test. The results showed that the V0 treatment without the use of Nasa's LOF gave the best results on the growth parameters and yields of hybrid corn plants, especially on the corn weight parameter.
