Abstract

Soil fertility is very important for the success in farming. High quality oil palms need fertile soil which affected by things which one of them is soil chemical properties. Therefore, it needs a system that able to help in selecting fertile soil for oil palms. Decision Support System (DSS) is built from three components Model Base, Software System, and User Interface. In this thesis, the criteria that became the reference in this system are pH, Organic Carbon, Total Nitrogen, Prosphor Available, Calium, Natrium, Calsium, Interchangeable Magnesium, KTK, Interchangeable Aluminium. The object of this thesis is to build a decision support system to determine the soil fertility oil palm farm using Fuzzy SAW(Simple Additive Weighting), which can give recommendations of the best soil for the oil palms.
