Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of local own revenue, capital expenditure, and unemployment on poverty in the provinces of South Sumatra and Lampung. The data used in this research is secondary data from 2009-2021 with the analytical method using multiple linear regression. The variables used in this research are the poverty rate, local own-source revenue, capital expenditure and unemployment. The results show that local revenue has a negative and significant effect on poverty in South Sumatra Province and Lampung Province, capital expenditure has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in South Sumatra Province and Lampung Province, Unemployment has a positive and insignificant effect on poverty in South Sumatra Province and unemployment has a negative and insignificant effect on poverty in Lampung Province.
