Abstract

This study aims to analyze the structure, performance, and how the structure affects the performance of the Indonesian essential oil industry. The data used is secondary time series data from 2012 to 2020, which is then analyzed with quantitative descriptive analysis techniques with multiple linear regression analysis tools. The results showed that the structure of the Indonesian essential oil industry is a tight oligopoly market with a high level of entry barriers and can be categorized as a profitable industry. Partially, it is known that the concentration ratio negatively has a significant effect on profits and entry barriers positively has a significant effect on profits. Simultaneously, the concentration ratio and entry barriers variables are known to have a significant influence on the profitability of the Indonesian essential oil industry in 2012-2020.
