Abstract

LOCAL OWN-SOURCE REVENUE (PAD) IS ONE OF THE IMPORTANT FACTORS IN THE SUSTAINABILITY OF FINANCING OF REGIONAL DEVELOPMENT. THE INCREASE IN LOCAL OWN-SOURCE REVENUE REFLECTS THE ABILITY OF LOCAL FINANCES TO BE USED TO IMPROVE WELFARE. THIS STUDY AIMS TO ANALYZE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN REGIONAL OWN-SOURCE REVENUE, REGIONAL EXPENDITURE, AND POVERTY IN SOUTH OGAN KOMERING ULU REGENCY. THE DATA USED IN THIS STUDY IS SECONDARY DATA FROM 2007-2022. THE RESEARCH METHOD USES THE GRANGER CAUSALITY TEST WITH THE ECM (ERROR CORRECTION MODEL) APPROACH. THE RESULTS SHOWED THAT THERE WAS ONE-WAY RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN LOCAL EXPENDITURE AND LOCAL REVENUE, AND LOCAL EXPENDITURE ON POVERTY AND REGIONAL EXPENDITURE HAS A LONG-TERM INFLUENCE ON POVERTY IN SOUTH OGAN KOMERING ULU REGENCY.
