Abstract

Research on the effect of the frequency of commercial feeding with a frequency of 3 times, a frequency of 5 times, a frequency of 6 times and a frequency of 7 times on the growth rate and survival of White Snapper (Latas calcarifer) seeds has been carried out at the Lampung Marine Aquaculture Center (BBPBL). The experimental design used was a completely randomized design with 3 repetitions and using 2 fiber tanks measuring 2 m x 1 m x 0.6 m and using 12 jars of 25 L volume with a stocking density of 10 fish with an initial weight of 4-6 grams and an initial length of 6-7 cm. The treatments tested were frequency of feeding treatment A (3 times a day), B (5 times a day), C (6 times a day), D (7 times a day). Treatment D produces good growth with an absolute weight of 15.23 grams and an absolute length of 6.77 cm, a daily growth rate of 2.94%, the best feed conversion ratio with a value of 1.07 grams and a survival rate of 49 days with a value of 100%, it can be concluded that the growth rate of White Snapper fish seeds grows well.
