Abstract

This research is entitled "Social Conflict Between Youth Groups in Pampangan Village versus Kandis Village, Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency". This research aims to analyze the flow of conflict that occurred in Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, especially Pampangan Village and Kandis Village. This research is a descriptive qualitative research type with a case study method. Determination of informants is determined by reviewing who is involved and knowing specifically the flow of conflict that can occur. The result is that this conflict started with an individual or one of the elements from each village who fought during the match and added to the violations that the referee ignored, causing the conflict to break out by committing acts of violence and destroying Kandis village facilities and leaving several victims with minor injuries. and there was one who was rushed to the local health center. However, this conflict can be resolved by means of mediation through the local security forces and also mediated by the respective village officials. But now the village youth have not been able to hold events for some time because the situation is still not very conducive. Keywords: Village conflict, youth, conflict flow.
