Abstract

Along with the development of the era in the field of human life, of course, it will be followed by increasingly sophisticated technological developments so that the need for electrical energy sources will increase because it is the main requirement in carrying out activities. Alternative energy is a type of alternative energy which can reduce the use of energy that is difficult to renew so that the electricity needs of the community can be met. One example of alternative energy is the utilization of waste. As an example of laundry waste in this study. Research that has been carried out by making a series of voltaic cells for laundry waste, namely detergent waste and bleach waste because the waste is an electrolyte solution. Salt water was added to the waste so that the detergent waste was able to produce the highest power of 0,033306 W. In bleach waste, salt water was also added to produce the highest power of 0.0156996 W. This proved that salt water was able to increase the power produced from waste laundry.
