Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Regional Original Income (PAD), Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) and the number of Civil Servants (PNS) on fiscal stress in West Kalimantan Province in 2017-2021. The data used in this study is secondary data in the form of panel data from 2017-2021 sourced from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), Directorate General of Financial Balance (DJPK), One Data West Kalimantan Province. The method in this study uses a quantitative approach with panel data regression analysis techniques. The results of this study show that the variable Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has a positive effect on fiscal stress, while the variable Regional Original Income (PAD) and the variable number of Civil Servants (PNS) have a negative effect on fiscal stress in West Kalimantan Province in 2017-2021.
