Abstract

The tittle of this thesis is “Development of Sriwijaya University From 1994-2007 (Reference Contribution for Sriwijaya University Library).” This thesis aimed to know about history of development Sriwijaya University especially for Displacement Campus era and Rectors’ the University regulations. Furthermore, researcher using the Historical Method in this method such as Heuristic, Source Criticm, Data Interpretation, Historiography and Approach. The problems in this experiment are How to Development of Sriwijaya University, How the arrangement of Legitimation Indralaya campus, and What the Rectors’ regulations are from 1994-2007. First lessons in the new campus Indralaya has been done on September 1st, 1997 by South Sumatera Governor, H. Ramli Hasan. However, Indralaya campus has been inaugurated on March 06th, 1997 by President Soeharto and the ministers. From 1994-2007, there were two Rectors’ who led Sriwijaya University such as Prof. Ir. H. Machmud Hasjiim MME and Prof. Dr. H. Zainal Ridho Djakfar.
