Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan pengaruh metode Drill terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen yang menggunakan desain pre-experimental design dengan bentuk one group pre-test post-test design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas X IIS di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan yang terdiri dari 3 kelas. Sampel penelitian menggunakan cluster random sampling, sehingga terpilih kelas X IIS 1 sebagai kelas eksperimen berjumlah 24 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu tes dan observasi, dimana sampel diberikan lembar test yaitu pre-test dan post-test untuk membuktikan pengaruh dari variabel X (metode drill) dan Y (hasil belajar). Teknik analisis data berupa uji normalitas data dan uji linearitas regresi. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametris yaitu uji t test sampel related. Dapat dianalisis bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik sebelum dan sesudah diberi perlakuan dengan metode drill pada kelas eksperimen terdapat perbedaan, untuk pre-test dengan nilai rerata 42 sedangkan untuk nilai post-test dengan rerata sebesar 83,8. Hipotesis menggunakan statistik parametris yaitu uji t test sampel related diperoleh nilai thitung = 20,59 > ttabel = 1,685 maka hipotesis Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, kemudian uji korelasi product moment didapat nilai r = 0,749. Maka dapat disimpulkan ada pengaruh metode Drill terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi di SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan. Diharapkan bagi pendidik dalam menerapkan metode Drill dapat mem- bimbing aktivitas peserta didik saat memberikan latihan soal serta merencanakan waktu yang diperlukan dalam menerapkan metode Drill.
