Abstract

The purpose of this research were to : 1) know the productive period of pineapple plant in Cinta Jaya Village Pedamaran Sub-district of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, 2) analyze the price of pineapple farming in post-fire peatland in Cinta Jaya Village Pedamaran District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency, and 3) analyze the gains achieved in pineapple farming in Desa Cinta Jaya Pedamaran District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency seen from R/C ratio and break even poin. This research held on March 2018 in Cinta Jaya Village Pedamaran District Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. The research method used is survey method, while the sampling method is simple random sampling. The data collected on research this composed from primary data and secondary data. Based on results obtained research that age plant on age 3-4 years already experienced 3 times of harvest time. In the 3rd harvest period still experience profit, the 5th harvest but the more harvest then the fruit will become smaller so it can minimize the revenue than it can be concluded the productive age of pineapple plants should be only 5 years or 5 times harvest. The price principal of pineapple per production amount Rp. 368,54/fruit/lg and Rp. 364,70/fruit/ha. Price principal pineapple per year as the following : On year to 1 (one) for Rp. 770,84/fruit, at year to 2 (two) of Rp.234,67/fruit/lg, on year to 3 (three) of Rp.234,67/fruit. And the price principal per grade as the following : On grade A of Rp.1.112,13/fruit, at grade B of Rp.312,83/fruit, and on grade C of Rp. 156,92/fruit Pineapple farming in the Cinta Jaya Village is rated very profitable, it is corresponding with the acquisition of R/C ratio of 4,39 per production or one planting time. And R/C ratio per year as the following : On harvest 1 is of 3,16, R/C harvest ratio to 2 by 6,34 and R/C ratio at harvest to 3 is equal to 5,15, which means R/C ratio above 1 then the farming very profitable. Average price on pineapple farming amount Rp. 2.000,- per piece. And use value of break even point BEP (unit) amount Rp. 210,64 per pieces or equivalent with 222,35 Kg of pineapple fruit, period break even point BEP (Rp) in rupiah at or revenue amount Rp. 454.093,43 and break even point BEP (price) amount Rp. 368,56.
