Abstract

This study aims to determine the development of a physical fitness measuring instrument based on switch technology to measure students' VO2Max. The research and development method used is the Tessmer model, with data collection techniques in the form of observation, tests and questionnaires. The data obtained from the results of this study will be analyzed to determine the quality of the development of a physical fitness measuring instrument based on switch technology to measure students' VO2Max using analysis of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. The results of the study concluded that the product produced was a physical fitness measuring instrument based on switch technology, and was made based on input and suggestions from media, application (IT) and material experts.The product that has been made has been tested on a small scale with 30 students of MTs Al-Mukhlis, on a large scale with 60 students aged 14-15 years at MTs N 1 Banyuasin, and has fulfilled the validity test from media experts of 75% categorized as feasible, expert application (IT) by 73% is classified as feasible, and material experts by 78% are categorized as feasible. The practicality test of 87.3% is classified as very practical, and the effectiveness for small scale is obtained tcount > ttable or 14.102 > 1.699 and tcount > ttable or 18.815 > 1.670 on a large scale. The implications of developing a physical fitness measuring instrument based on switch technology with a button to measure student VO2Max are very valid, practical and effective so that it can be used by students in particular and in general the world of sports according to needs.
