Abstract

Pondasi mesin merupakan bagian dari struktur bawah yang berfungsi untuk memikul beban statis maupun beban dinamis yang ditimbulkan oleh mesin untuk kemudian diteruskan ke lapisan tanah. Dalam tugas akhir ini dibahas tentang perencanaan pondasi akibat beban statis dan beban dinamis yang dihasilkan oleh pergerakan mesin vertical mill. Tahapan-tahapan dalam penelitian meliputi studi literatur, pengumpulan data sekunder, perencanaan pembebanan, serta menganalisis perhitungan perencanaan pondasi mesin yang dimulai dengan perhitungan daya dukung tanah dan dilanjutkan dengan perencanaan dimensi pondasi mesin tipe blok dan kombinasi antara pondasi mesin tipe blok dengan pondasi tiang. Dari hasil perencanaan didapatkan dimensi pondasi mesin yang paling efektif dan memenuhi persyaratan keamanan pondasi mesin, yaitu kombinasi antara pondasi mesin tipe blok dengan dimensi 15mxl5mx4m dan pondasi tiang dengan dimensi 40 cm x 40 cm dengan panjang tiang 6 m dan jarak antar tiang 1,2 m.
