Abstract

PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk merupakan Badan Usaha Milik Negara (BUMN) yang bergerak dalam industri pertambangan batubara yang berada di Tanjung Enim, Sumatera Selatan yang memiliki Izin Usaha Pertambangan (IUP) seluas 40.347 Ha. PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk ini berdiri sejak tahun 1981 dan termasuk dalam daftar lima besar produsen batubara di Indonesia. Wilayah kerja PT Bukit Asam, Tbk terbagi menjadi tiga bagian yaitu Tambang Air Laya (TAL), Muara Tiga Besar (MTB), Banko Barat dan Banko Tengah. Sistem penambangan yang digunakan oleh PT. Bukit Asam untuk memenuhi target produksi yaitu sistem tambang terbuka (strip mining) dengan metode shovel and truck dan metode continous mining BWE (Bucket Wheel Excavator system). Kegiatan penambangan Batubara menggunakan berbagai macam alat mekanis, diantaranya Bulldozer sebagai pemberai batubara, Excavator sebagai alat galimuat, Dump Truck sebagai alat angkut. Faktor yang memengaruhi produktivitas pertambangan yaitu kapasitas alat, faktor koreksi, faktor pengembangan material, densitas material, faktor isian mangkuk (bucket fill factor), efisiensi kerja dan waktu edar (cycle time). Penelitian ini dilakukan secara langsung di Pit 2 Banko Barat untuk melihat proses pengambilan batu bara dan kinerja alat. Pengumpulan informasi digunakan untuk mendukung pembahasan dalam penelitian. Hasil yang diperoleh dalam penelitian ini yaitu produksi alat di penambangan batubara Pit 2 Banko Barat pada bulan September 2022 belum mencapai target rencana kerja yang disepakati dimana produksi alat gali muat yang dicapai sebanyak 271.858 ton/bulan dan produksi alat angkut sebanyak 280.117 ton/bulan dari rencana kerja yaitu sebanyak 310.000 ton/bulan. Parameter yang mempengaruhi produksi alat gali muat dan alat angkut pada penambangan batubara di Pit 2 Banko Barat terdiri dari faktor yang dapat diubah dan tidak dapat diubah. Parameter yang dapat diubah dalam penelitian ini adalah: waktu edar, faktor pengisian bucket (bucket fill factor), dan effisiensi kerja. Produksi alat gali muat yang terdapat di penambangan batubara Pit 2 Banko Barat setelah dilakukan peningkatan effisiensi kerja yaitu perbaikan waktu kerja efektif dapat meningkat menjadi 310.556 ton/bulan dan produksi alat angkut menjadi 319.991 ton/bulan sehingga ketercapaian produksi dapat terpenuhi hingga 101% dari yang sebelumnya sebesar 89%. PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk is a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN) engaged in the coal mining industry located in Tanjung Enim, South Sumatra which has a Mining Business Permit (IUP) covering an area of 40,347 Ha. PT. Bukit Asam, Tbk was established in 1981 and is included in the list of the top five coal producers in Indonesia. The working area of PT Bukit Asam, Tbk is divided into three parts, namely the Laya Water Mine (TAL), Muara Tiga Besar (MTB), Banko Barat and Banko Tengah. Mining system used by PT. Bukit Asam to meet production targets, namely the strip mining system with the shovel and truck method and the BWE (Bucket Wheel Excavator system) continous mining method. Coal mining activities use a variety of mechanical tools, including Bulldozers as coal feeders, Excavators as loading tools, Dump Trucks as transportation tools. Factors that affect mining productivity are tool capacity, correction factors, material development factors, material density, bucket fill factors, work efficiency and cycle time. This research was conducted directly at Pit 2 of West Banko to see the coal retrieval process and tool performance. Information collection is used to support discussion in research. The results obtained in this study are that the production of equipment at the West Banko Pit 2 coal mine in September 2022 has not reached the agreed work plan target where the production of loading and unloading equipment achieved was 271,858 tons / month and the production of transportation equipment as much as 280,117 tons / month from the work plan of 310,000 tons / month. The parameters affecting the production of loading and unloading equipment on coal mining in Pit 2 of West Banko consist of both changeable and irreversible factors. The parameters that can be changed in this study are: distribution time, bucket fill factor, and work efficiency. The production of loading and unloading equipment contained in the West Banko Pit 2 coal mine after an increase in work efficiency, namely the improvement of effective working time can increase to 310,556 tons / month and the production of transportation equipment to 319,991 tons / month so that production achievement can be fulfilled up to 101% from the previous 89%.
