Abstract

Flooding causes of the largest in the city of Palembang particularly in the area of housing is as much a reclaimed swamp land into residential areas. Housing one of the frequent flooding in the city of Palembang is housing that is located on the Bukit Sejahtera. It is necessary for your analysis flood hazard level, and the level of vulnerability at housing Bukit Sejahtera, as well as analysis of the level of risk due lo flooding on the housing Bukit Sejahtera. To analyze the level of hazard, vulnerability, and risk level is done by mapping application using ILWIS program. Infrastructure vulnerability index (IVI) is determined based on indicators of vulnerability such as building area, number of occupants, type of work, conditions of roads and drainage conditions. From the results obtained running the area that has the potential flood hazard is 47.30% of the total housing Bukit Sejahtera. This research resulted maximum IVI of houses buliding was 0.50 and minimum 0.10, which w as 593 houses at moderate vulnerability level and 392 houses at low vulnerability level. The final analysis of vulnerability assessment is risk analysis that overlay between hazard assessment and vulnerability assessment. The risk assessment resulted a risk level which was 592 houses at no risk level, 138 houses at low risk level, and 255 houses at moderate risk level. Obtained in this study is not the house that has a high risk level.
