Abstract

The aim of this study to identify problem behavior in FT students who experience broken home in riviem of the theory of reality counseling in SMP Negeri 15 Palembang.the research method used is discrete qualitative. data collection instruments using interview methods on FT students, Counseling Guidance Teachers, and close friends of FT students. data analysis using miles and Huberman models that include data reduction, data display, and conclusions. from the results of the research has been known that the characteristics of problematic behavior in students who experience broken home, if in relevance with the theory of reality counseling FT experienced behavior: Rejection / reject the reality of FT students can not accept the reality of the problems that occurred dikeluarganya, not objective / irrational evidenced by the emergence of negative thinking from FT students that He is not sure his future will succeed without the figure of a mother who support it, irresponsibility is evidenced from the frequent FT students from the frequent FT students do not go to school and do not do the task that the teacher, the last less confident FT students identified that he was not sure and doubt about his ability
