Abstract

This study aims to identify, describe, and criticize the use of the SIMFONI-PPA application (Online Information System for the Protection of Women and Children) at the Office of Women's Empowermentand Child Protection of South Sumatra Province. Measuring the effectiveness of using this application uses Budiani's theory. This research was conduced at the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, South Sumatra Province. Research informants are employees ofthe Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection of South Sumatra Province. Collecting data on each indicator using interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques using descriptive analysis techniques. The results of this study indicate that the use of the SIMFONI-PPA application in an effort to handle cases of violence against women and children in South Sumatra Province by the Office of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection ofSouth Sumatra Province has been running effectively even though there are still some obstacles in its use.
