Abstract
Phytochemical test of Sandoricum koetjapefollowed by isolation triterpenoid compound from ethyl acetate fraction from S. koetjapestem bark have been done. The isolation process was carried out through the extraction step by maceration method and separation of compound and purification by liquid partition and chromatography methods. The purity test was carried out by thin-layer chromatography test using three eluent mixed systems and also using melting point test and characterization of compound using infrared spectroscopy, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC, and HMBC. Phytochemical test result showed that S. koetjapecontain flavonoid, saponin, steroid, and triterpenoid. The isolation result was obtained pure compound in the form of white crystalline solid with melting point 235-237oC. The purity test showed consistanly one spot with a mixture hexane: ethyl acetate (8:2) with Rf 0.625; hexane: chloroform (3:7) with Rf0.375; hexane:acetone (8:2) with Rf0.625 based on the analysis of Infrared spectra data, 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, HSQC, and HMBC, it can be concluded that the isolated compound is a group tritepenoids compound of oleanan origin of briononicacid.
