Abstract

This study aimed to examine the differences between learning outcomes, attitudes, and perceptions of students in learning module of reaction rate based on constructivism five phases of Needham with conventional learning in SMA Negeri 3 Palembang. The sample of this study was two classes of experimental class and control class. In each class the writer took 36 students. The research method of this study was using quasi experimental with research design of non-equivalent control group design. The data were collected through test, questionnaire,and documentation. The results of t-test obtained for student learning outcomes was t (count) 2.786> t (table) 1.994, student attitudes t (count) 2.964> t (table) 1.994, and student perception t (count) 3.898> t (table) 1.994. Thus, the t-test obtained of the results between attitudes, and perceptions of students t-test results showed that, t (count) was greater than t (table) then H0 was rejected and Ha was accepted. The conclusion of this study was there any differences between learning outcomes, attitudes, and perceptions of students in learning module rate with conventional learning.
