Abstract

Penggunaan alat mesin pertanian (alsintan) adalah Suatu cara untuk meningkatkan produktivitas efesien Usaha tani. Adapun tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisa kinerja mesin penanam padi di Kabupaten Banyuasin di Kabupaten Banyuasin Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan dari bulan Februari 2022. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah perbandingan antara usaha tani yang menggunakan alat dan mesin pertanian dengan yang tidak menggunakan alat dan mesin pertanian di tiga wilayah yaitu lahan basah, rawa lebak dan pasang surut. Pengolahan data penelitian adalah pendekatan deskriptif tabulatif yang datanya diperoleh dengan teknik survei. Adapun parameter yang dilakukan pada peneltian ini yaitu kebutuhan alsintan, kapasitas lapang, efisiensi lapang, biaya opersional parameter penunjang yaitu intensitas tanaman. Potensi Pertambahan kebutuhan alat rice transplanter pada Desa Telang Rejo Kecamatan Muara Telang, Desa Sako Kecamatan Rambutan, dan Desa Tanjung Lago berturut-turut sebesar 55 unit, 13 unit, dan 16 unit. Efisiensi penggunaan alat rice transplanter di tiga wilayah yaitu 60,98%, 90,73%, dan 60,98%. Biaya operasional pengoperasian alat rice transplanter meliputi biaya tetap sebesar Rp 20.296.246 dan biaya tidak tetap sebesar Rp. 10.344.0000.
