Abstract

Polygamy is a social phenomenon related to religious understanding and is still a debate in Indonesia. Issues related to polygamy have recently returned to the discussion, in the midst of the frenzy of the existence of polygamy which has attracted a lot of criticism, K.H. Hafidin believes himself as a polygamy coach who campaigns as well as polygamists. The study "Dramatism of K.H. Hafidin as Polygamy Mentor in Youtube Show (Pentad Analysis on Narasi Newsroom Shows Reveals the Other Side of Paid Polygamy Mentoring and Robbanian Family Shows Small Talk About the Joys of Polygamy" aims to analyze and describe how the dramatism carried out by K.H. Hafidin through the two youtube using analysis that is presented directly in the theory of Dramatism by Kenneth Burke. Pentad as an analytical tool consists of five elements, namely agent, act, scene, agency, and purpose, besides that there are also concepts of identification, guilt, and redemption. In this study, it was found that dramatism was formed based on the results of the relationship between elements contained in the pentad analysis. Through pentad analysis, it was found that K.H. Hafidin's goal motives had a tendency to campaign for the practice of polygamy, as well as his profession which opens polygamy mentoring classes, as well as forms of identification and guilt and redemption. The relationship between Pentad dimensions that appears prominent is the agents-agency. Keywords: Polygamy, Dramatism Theory, Pentad Analysis.
