Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menghitung jumlah biomassa dari tanaman padi SRI di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin, menghitung jumlah karbondioksida yang di serap oleh tanaman padi SRI di Desa Kabupaten Banyuasin, menghitung Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau penerimaan potensial dari perdagangan karbon padi SRI di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin. Pengumpulan dan Pengambilan data di Lapangan dilaksanakan pada bulan Juni 2012. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode survei, data berasal dari data primer dan data sekunder. Metode penarikan contoh yang digunakan adalah metode Purposive Sampling. Jumlah populasi petani padi SRI di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin sebanyak 35 KK dengan jumlah sampel 5 KK. Jumlah biomassa tanaman padi SRI di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin adalah 7,769 ton/ha/mt yang terdiri dari akar, Jerami dan gabah. Jumlah tambatan karbondioksida tanaman padi SRI di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin adalah sebesar 12,854 ton/ha/m t. Penerimaan potensial dari tambatan karbondioksida tanaman padi SRI di Desa Teluk Betung Kecamatan Pulau Rimau Kabupaten Banyuasin adalah 117,277 US$ /ha/mt atau Rp. 1.115.821,24 /ha/mt dengan kurs sebesar Rp. 9.514,417 /US$.
