Abstract

A lathe is a production machine in which the workpiece on the spindle will work simultaneously with the feeding process. Fixture is production equipment that holds the workpiece firmly so that the necessary machining work can be done. In the research being carried out is to make chuck tools on lathes so that they are able to do milling like milling machines. Tool drawing is done using Solidworks software. The results that have been carried out on the chuck tool are capable of carrying out the milling machine feeding process, namely face milling and drilling, the chuck tool replaces the toolpost on the lathe and the chisel bit is placed on the spindle, in carrying out the vertical workpiece feeding process it is done manually while the workpiece feeding is manually. horizontal is done with a carriage table that moves automatically. And the results of the analysis of calculating the surface roughness values of the two workpieces using the Accretech Handysuft E-35B Surface Roughness Tester. It is hoped that the clamping tools that have been made can be utilized by production workshops or small industries that do not have a milling machine to increase the productivity of their lathes.
