Abstract

This study aims to describe the Discipline Level of Class VIII Students in Social Studies Subjects at SMP Negeri1 Indralaya Selatan. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. This research is a descriptive research with a quantitative approach using data collection techniques in the form of questionnaires and documentation. The results of the study obtained the Discipline Level of Class VIII Students in Social Studies Subjects at SMP Negeri1 Indralaya Selatan. From the four indicators it is known that the indicator of obedience to school rules with a percentage of 92,4% is in the very good category, the indicator of obedience to learning activities at school with a percentage of 80,98% categorized as Good, Indicator of Carrying out the tasks that are their responsibility with 76,02% categorized as Good, and Discipline Indicator of learning at home with a percentage of 61,04% categorized as Enough. Overall, Grade VIII students in Social Sciences Subject at SMP Negeri 1 Indralaya Selatan have a level of learning discipline that is included in the good category with an average percentage obtained of 77% (76-85%). Based on the results of the research, it is expected to improve student learning discipline, especially in carrying out tasks that are the responsibility and be more disciplined at home.
