Abstract

One of the factors that affect the value of soil resistance is soil temperature and humidity. This research designs a monitoring tool for soil temperature and humidity values to monitor soil resistance values remotely based on IoT (Internet of Things) so that it can be monitored periodically every 10 minutes within 24 hours for 3 days with two conditions, namely rainy and normal weather. The results show that the soil temperature value is directly proportional to the soil resistance value and the soil moisture value is inversely proportional to the soil resistance value. In rainy weather conditions, the soil temperature value and soil resistance value are smaller while the soil moisture value is greater than in normal weather. At points 1-6 in front of the flash lab, the accuracy values of soil temperature and humidity are 97% and 89.67, 96.67% and 90%, 96.67% and 89.33%, 97.33% and 89%, 98.67% and 94%, 98.33% and 91%. The precision values of soil temperature and humidity are 87% and 86%, 85% and 86.67%, 85.33% and 87.67%, 86% and 84%, 85% and 85.67%, 85.67% and 81.33%. At points 1 and 2 of the PLTS grounding, the accuracy values of soil temperature and humidity are 97% and 84.33%, 95.67% and 85.33%. The precision values of soil temperature and humidity are 90.33% and 79.33%, 90% and 83.67%.
