Abstract
A research on sludge solubility kinetics has been done by using biosurfactant of isolates indigenous bacteria Bacillus firmus and Bhurkholderia glumae, sample was taken from abadon well at Babat Toman Village Musi Banyuasin, South Sumatra for Mictobial Enhanced Oil Recovery (MEOR). TPH measured method while the degradation reaction order was determined by differential method and the determination of degradation constant was done by integral method using sample contretation was 4.91% (w/v). The measurement was obserbed twice of for 10 days. The initial sludge concentration were arranged 1.64%; 3.28%; 4.91; 6.11%; and 7.57% (w/w). After 10 days aeration period in B.Firmus bacteria the concentration of the sample decreased the concentration to 1.45%; 2.76%; 4.13%; 5.04%; and 6.51% (w/w). The reaction order was detemined by using the differential method, it was 0.139 then the order of the reaction is inserted into the integral equation so that obtained the equation of straight line is Y = 0,0099x + 0,807. In B.Glumae bacteria decreased concentration of 1.09%; 2.68%; 3.8%; 4.88%; and 6.13% (w/v) and got from result of decreasing order of reaction equal to 0,354 so put into integral equation and obtained equation of straight line that is Y = 0,0030x + 0,5623. Biosufactants are able to dissolve the hydrocarbon compounds of the <C10 - C14 atomic chain and the C22 atomic chain of B.Firmus degradation, while the biosurfactant is able to dissolve the <C10 - C14 atomic chain hydrocarbon compound from the degradation of the B.Glumae bacteria.
