Abstract

This research is titled “the role of all-round cooperative business syariah mekar sari mandiri in enhancing the business of home-based crispy industry in the village of Mulia Sari Tanjung Lago Sub District, Banyuasin District. This study examinies the problems regarding how the cooperative works and what are the barries of cooperatives in improving the home industry business of chips. This research is descriptive qualitative which describes descriptive data from the phenomena studied with the unit of cooperative analysis in the community. In determining the informants used pusposively, the purspose is to get more detailed information in accordance with the research problems. The research strategy used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of observation , interviews and documentation. The collected data is then analyzed using data reduction analysis techinques, data persentation and conclusions and triangulation. The results of this study indicate that in the role of the all-round cooperative business of syariah mekar sari in increasing the business of home-based chips industry in tanjung lago sub-distrcit, banyuasin district the are several cooperative efforts in its roles as economic institutions in the noble village of tanjung lago sub-district, banyuasin based on the expectations of the community and expectation of the cooperative towards the community. So it appears that every expectation is fulfilled and produces a role from the cooperative. The obstacle in this independent all-round syariah cooperative is the non-current loan installments.
