Abstract

The purposes of this research are: (1) To Find out the source of rice supply and the rice transaction system in Lubuklinggau City, (2) Knowing the type of quality and volume of rice at the merchant level, (3) Analyze the volume of rice supply and rotation of rice at the merchant level, (4) Analyzing the rate of profit obtained rice traders. The research was conducted at Inpres market, Lubuklinggau city South Sumatera. The location was chosen purposively. The method used in this research is simple random sampling. The data collected by primary and secondary source and data collected in January 2018. The result of this research showed that the source of rice supply more derived from other city of distributor in the city of Lubuklinggau by average amount of rice supply of 446.119 Kg/mounth while the rice supplies from outside the area Lubuklinggau totaled 39.036 Kg/mounth, the type of quality rice is most widely circulated during the year of 2017 is a premium quality rice amount to1.357.115Kg and medium quality rice amount to 74.890 Kg, the average preparation of rice supply was amounted to 1.557.495 Kg/Mounth. Factors influence significantly to volume sales of rice is quality of rice. Factors effect significantly to rice supply is the selling price of rice, and rotation or selling rice from distributors to market traders then sell to retailers and consumers; the average rate of profit is amounting to IDR 18.006.285 in mounth.
