Abstract

In general, the productivity of mechanical devices is a value that shows the amount of material production that can be done by both loading and transporting equipment in a certain unit of time. The size of the productivity of the loading and digging tool depends on the factors that influence it. Basically, the ability of tools and humans has limits in maximum use because of small obstacles that always occur.one of which is work efficiency Work efficiency is a comparison between productive work time with available work time. With the improvement in work efficiency which was originally 43% to 58%, it caused an increase in productivity from loading and transporting excavations. This increase can occur because equipment production will increase due to reduced loss time that has been minimized so that work efficiency and effective working hours increase. After improvements, the achievement of coal stripping production at the Kungrefinery Pit increased to 53,947 tons / month for the production of loading and digging equipment and 49,566 tons / month for the production of transportation equipment, this means that coal stripping production has exceeded the initial target set by the company which is 85.5%. Based on these results, it can be said that production can be fulfilled, so there is no need for the addition of loading and digging equipment or transportation equipment as well. This can be an evaluation for the company to continue to be able to increase its production targets
