Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) limbah kulit pisang terhadap pertumbuhan bibit kopi arabika (Coffea arabica L.) asal biji. Penelitian ini telah dilaksanakan di Balai Benih Induk Hortikultura Jarai, Kecamatan Jarai, Kabupaten Lahat, Sumatra Selatan pada Desember 2022 hingga Februari 2023. Varietas yang digunakan adalah kopi arabika. Penelitian dilaksanakan dengan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Kelompok (RAK) dengan 4 taraf perlakuan yaitu konsentrasi ekstrak pupuk organik cair asal limbah kulit nanas. Perlakuan terdiri dari konsentrasi pupuk 5 % (K1), konsentrasi pupuk 7,5 % (K2), konsentasi pupuk 10 % (K3), konsentrasi pupuk 12,5 % (K4). Hasil pengamatan dianalisis menggunakan sidik ragam dan dilanjutkan dengan uji BNT 5%. Parameter yang diamati yaitu tinggi tanaman kopi, diameter batang kopi, jumlah daun, berat segar, berat kering, panjang akar, dan luas daun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penambahan pupuk organik cair asal limbah kulit pisang dapat membantu pertumbuhan bibit kopi arabika asal biji. Penambahan pupuk organik cair asal limbah kulit nanas pada konsentasi 12,5 % memberikan hasil terbaik terhadap tinggi tanaman, jumlah daun,luas daun, berat segar dan berat kering.
