Abstract

This research is entitled "Communication Patterns of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia Representative of South Sumatra in Efforts to Resolve Community Reports". This research aims to determine the communication patterns carried out by the assistant for the examination of the report of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia representative of South Sumatra in an effort to complete community reports. This research uses the integrative theory of Richard Farace, Peter Monge, and Hamish Russell using descriptive research methods with data obtained from in-depth interviews, observations, literature studies and documentation. From the results of this study, it shows that communication that completes community reports at the Indonesian Ombudsman representative of South Sumatra in each field of assistance has an interconnected part between the level system, the application of communication functions and its structural alignment. In the flow of the communication process in completing the report, it formed a communication pattern with the Indonesian Ombudsman representative of South Sumatra.
