Abstract

This research is motivated by the high number of cases of domestic violence especially women in Palembang City, there is not enough information for the whistle blower or victims about P2TP2A of Palembang City and P2TP2A of Palembang City has no office but still use Dharma Wanitas`s office. The purpose of this research is to know the Implementation of Protection Policy for Women Victims of Domestic Violence at Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Empowerment (P2TP2A) of Palembang City. The theory used in this research is the theory of policy implementation of Charles O. Jones, where the success of policy implementation is influenced by three main activities namely organization, interpretation and application. The type of research used is descriptive with qualitative method. Data collection techniques with observation, interview and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Protection Policy against Women Victims of Domestic Violence at Integrated Service Center for Women and Children Empowerment (P2TP2A) of Palembang City has met all aspects of Charles O. Jones, although there are still shortcomings in the organizational structure, services to women victims of domestic violence, especially safe house and little access information about P2TP2A of Palembang City. The results of this study recommends that the policy is continued by clarifying the organizational structure, improving coordination between employees of P2TP2A of Palembang City and related institutions, as well as providing safe house and information that are easily accessible by the victims.
