Abstract

PT Bukit Asam is located in Muara Enim, South Sumatra. PT Bukit Asam at PIT E in November plans to produce 2,605,000 bcm. On the southern front of Pit E in November plans to produce 450,000 bcm of overburden. The road geometry for the tool greatly influences the tool cycle time where the tool cycle time will also determine the tool productivity achieved. Therefore, in order to achieve the predetermined target, it is necessary to analyze the geometry of the road that can affect or inhibit the rate of production of conveyances that work on stripping overburden. Based on this, the purpose of this research is to analyze the geometry of the road in order to get maximum results. Calculation of overburden stripping productivity at PT. Bukit Asam fell short of the production target of 450,000 bcm/month with an actual productivity of 406.090,36 bcm/month which means only 90%. Based on the results of observations and measurements there are several factors that cause the productivity of the transportation equipment to not be achieved, this factor is the width of the haul road that does not meet the road width standard. Grade resistance, the grade value obtained is relatively small, the highest segment is only at 2%. Work efficiency which is quite small with a value of 73% can be increased by minimizing the time of avoidable delays which can be increased to 79%. Productivity after the improvement from the calculation results after the improvement from the calculation results after the repair can be increased to 516.139 bcm/month, an increase of 110.048,64 from the actual calculation with a production achievement of 114%, which means that the calculation results have exceeded the production target
