Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Raudhatul Ulum sedang melakukan pengembangan kampus baru di kawasan Pondok Pesantren Raudhatul Ulum. Dalam pengembangan tersebut, terdapat rencana pembangunan pusat olahraga yang menjadi judul perencanaan dan perancangan penulis. Dalam lingkung yang ada, pusat olahraga ini akan menjadi bangunan olahraga rekreasi bagi mahasiswa dan bisa menjadi tempat kompetisi internal dalam kampus. Pendekatan arsitektur islam dipilih pada perencanaan ini mengingat keberadaan tapak dari bangunan yang berada dalam lingkugan kampus islam. Pada poin-poin perencanaan nantinya akan tetap memerhatikan keinginan mahasiswa dan pihak kampus sendiri, seperti kebutuhan akan jenis olahraga yang ada, dan ruang-ruang tertentu didalam bangunan nantinya. Poin yang diangkat pada arsitektur islam pada perencanaan terdiri dari; tidak mubazir dan efisiesn, egaliter, privasi dalam islam, dan kearifan lokal. Keempat poin ini dalam dunia arsitektur akan terbagi menjadi beberapa poin seperti zonasi dan fungsi ruang, pola tatanan ruang, bentuk dasar arsitektur, konteks lingkunga sekitar, dan sebagainya. Konsep yang diterapkan pada tapak bangunan merespon pada keadaaan lingkungan sekitar tapak, dimulai dari penataan massa didalam tapak, serta area sirkulasi dan tata hijau yang ada. Pada perancangan arsitektur bentuk massa bangunan bermula dari bentuk dasar berupa persegi panjang yang kemudian diolah merespon pada konteks lingkungan sekitar dan kebutuhan ruang didalam bangunan. Struktur pada bangunan akan menggunakan struktur bentang lebar yang dimana ini merupakan respon dari pada kebutuhan ruang tanpa kolom berupa lapangan olahraga yang menjadi pusat kegiatan pada bangunan. Sistem utilitas pada bangunan akan menyesuaikan pada kebutuhan dan keadaan lingkungan sekitar tapak. Raudhatul Ulum Islamic College is currently developing a new campus in the Raudhatul Ulum Islamic Boarding School area. In this development, there is a plan to build a sports center which is the title of the author's planning and design. In the existing environment, this sports center will become a recreational sports building for students and can become a place for internal competitions on campus. The Islamic architectural approach was chosen in this plan considering the location of the building's site within the Islamic campus environment. The planning points will still pay attention to the wishes of the students and the campus itself, such as the need for the types of sports that exist, and certain spaces in the building later. Points raised in Islamic architecture in planning consist of; not redundant and efficient, egalitarian, privacy in Islam, and local wisdom. These four points in the world of architecture will be divided into several points such as zoning and function of space, patterns of spatial arrangement, basic forms of architecture, the context of the surrounding environment, and so on. The concept applied to the building site responds to the environmental conditions around the site, starting from the arrangement of the masses within the site, as well as the circulation area and the existing green layout. In architectural design, the shape of the building mass starts from the basic shape in the form of a rectangle which is then processed to respond to the context of the surrounding environment and the space requirements within the building. The structure of the building will use a wide span structure which is a response to the need for columnless space in the form of a sports field which is the center of activity in the building. The utility system in the building will adjust to the needs and conditions of the environment around the site.
