Abstract

After decades of stalling the settlement of Talangsari's human rights violations, a unilateral declaration of peace emerged by the local government to stop the case without any legal process. The existence of this unilateral peace declaration led to rejection from the victim's family and KontraS as a human rights NGO in Indonesia. In an effort to reject this peace declaration, KontraS established a transnational network cooperation with Amnesty International. This study will look at how the Transnational Advocacy Network Strategy in rejecting the Peace Declaration of the Talangsari Incident carried out by KontraS by dissecting four dimensions, including Information Politics, Symbolic Politics, Leverage Politics, and Accountability Politics. This study uses qualitative research methods with library data collection methods. As for the results of this research from the dimensions above, KontraS has published content on various social media and official websites as well as made visits to victims, conducted various public discussions and field actions, mobilized the strength of Amnesty International by conducting intense communication both in person and in video meetings. and pressured the government to demand the settlement of the Talangsari case.
