Abstract

This research is motivated by the still high incidence of teenagers delinquency in the city of Palembang, so this reserach aims to finding out how the effectiveness of the planned generation program in the city of Palembang. The Generation Plan is a policy of the government that is responsible for overcoming population problems. The planned generation program is one of the government's efforts to carry out population development, in order to support Indonesian teenagers to be more visionary in order to be useful for the nation. In the development of the implementation of the Genre program in the city of Palembang it was not as expected This study aims to find out the description of the planned generational program in the city of Palembang. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method with a type of descriptive research. The data used are primary and secondary data. The data that has been processed is then presented in the form of a description, then reintroduced or interpreted to be discussed and analyzed qualitatively, then to draw a conclusion. Based on the results of the research showed that the Implementation of the Generation Program to minimize the level of juvenile delinquency in Palembang City had not been effective. This research provides some suggestions that the implementation of the Planning Generation Program in Palembang City can run effectively and show maximum results. The BK.EPP of Palembang City must conduct more massive socialization and provide periodic guidance to peer counselors and teenage parents so that they understand the objectives of the Generational Planning Program and conduct periodic evaluations especially on socialization and program implementation that still lacks.
