Abstract

The role of public relations South Sumatera province government office in weave relatios with print media. Communication studies essay of social studies faculty and political science of Sriwijaya University. ln this research examines the important issue The role of public relations South Sumatera province government office in weave relatios with print media. because public relations has a duty to serve the community in order to avoid imbalance of news. The purpose of the study was to determine the role of public relations of the South Sumatera province government office in weave relations with print media. Research it use qualitative method in type of descriptive research. The focus of research is as a delivery of messages from the South Sumatera province goverment office in order to establish a harmoniuos relationship with the print media, building relationship, the role of back up management and building corporate image. In this file from primary file thrnngh interviews with the head of public relations, staff, and journalists. Based on the analysis result and research can be concluded that the role of public relations in weave relations with print media has not run optimally because some people do not fully understand the information, Therefore socialization must be improved in every government policy so that the public can easily understand the ideas or matery through government public relations.
