Abstract
Production waste is affected by population growth in an area that continues to increase in Kertapati District, Palembang City. TPS 3R is a place where waste is collected, sorted, reused and recycled. This study uses secondary data as data analysis. The method used in calculating this research is calculating the total waste generation in 2021, calculating the projected waste generation in 2031, projecting the needs for Motor Carts, TPS, and TPS 3R in 2031. The results of this study show that waste generation is 46 tonnes/day and has a waste generation rate of 0.48/kg/org/hour. In 2031 it is estimated that there will be a waste generation of 51 tons/hour with a waste generation rate of 0.53/kg/person/hour. In 2031, the projected need for Gerobak Motor is 255 units which can transport 0.2 tonnes/hour of waste generation or 18,615 tonnes/year. In 2031, the projected need for TPS is 24 units which can accommodate waste generation of 35.7 tons/hour or 13,030.5 tons/year and requires TPS 3R of 8 units which can accommodate waste generation of 15.3 tons/hour or 5,585 tons/year.
