Abstract
This study discusses the evaluation of the monitoring and evaluation program for land use location permits and business use rights by the environmental and land services of the province of South Sumatra according to William N Dunn evaluation is seen from various aspects, namely effectiveness, efficiency, adequacy, equity, responsiveness and accuracy. this research is motivated by indications of abandoned land and abandoned land in South Sumatra is still in a considerable amount. The data sources used are primary data and descriptive secondary data, the data collection techniques used are observation, interviews and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of this program was quite good, this was indicated by several factors, namely (1) the budget for implementing program activities was sufficient and could maximize team performance, (2) good teamwork in implementing the program both between team members and related OPDs, (3) the achievement of targets made in one program year as evidenced by the results of the program that exceeded its annual target, The advice given to this researcher is the fulfillment of the needs in implementing the program which in this case is in the form of advice and infrastructure, then in certain circumstances the budget is sometimes insufficient for implementation, so it is necessary to submit funds again, then the availability of documents or files needed by the team in the process of analyzing the findings in the field.
