Abstract

Tanaman tembelekan (Lantana camara L.) merupakan tanaman hias yang populer, memiliki berbagai warna bunga yaitu merah, merah muda, putih, kuning, dan ungu, daun berwarna hijau dengan aroma yang khas. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui Zat Pengatur Tumbuh yang terbaik untuk mendukung pertumbuhan akar pada setek batang tanaman tembelekan (Lantana camara L.). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Kebun Percobaan Fakultas Pertanian Universitas Sriwijaya, Indralaya. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada bulan September sampai bulan Desember 2022. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) yang terdiri atas satu faktor yaitu jenis zat pengatur tumbuh (ZPT) berupa Root Up dan Super Root, serta terdiri dari 3 perlakuan yaitu P0 (Kontrol), R25 (ZPT Root Up konsentrasi 25 ppm), dan S25 (ZPT Super Root konsentrasi 25 ppm). Setiap perlakuan dilakukan 3 kali pengulangan dan disetiap perlakuan terdapat 15 tanaman sehingga menghasilkan 135 tanaman. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan uji sidik ragam (ANOVA) dengan membandingkan nilai F hitung dengan F tabel pada taraf uji 5%. Jika F hitung berbeda nyata maka akan diuji dengan uji lanjut BNT 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan jenis ZPT Super Root dengan konsentrasi 25 ppm memberikan efek yang terbaik untuk pertumbuhan akar setek tanaman tembelekan (Lantana camara L.).
