Abstract

This research aims to determine how the implementation of the principles of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) PT Bukit Asam Tbk in Muara Enim Regency. The problem that exist are motivated by the large number of CSR granted by PT Bukit Asam Tbk in Muara Enim Regency, however it is not known how far the suitability with the principles of CSR. The theory used is the principles CSR theory according to Crowther David, in which he devided the principles of CSR into three aspects, namely Sustainability, Accountability, and Transparency. The method used is qualitative with descriptive approach. Data collection technique carried out include observation, interview, and documentation. The result showed that the implementation of the principles of CSR PT Bukit Asam Tbk in Muara Enim Regency has been running well, except for one aspect which hasn’t been fully implemented properly, namely Transparency. Therefore, researcher suggest that PT Bukit Asam Tbk, especially CSR – Sustainability unit to increase its transparency in implementing CSR.
