Abstract

The research area is administratively located in Tamansari Village, Pugung District, Lampung Province. The research area is included in the Sumatra Fault zone with regional stratigraphy including columnar sediments. Data processing focuses on spatial data which is the process of making models and calculating morphotectonic analysis, using ArcGIS, Mapsource and GlobalMapper software. Morphotectonic analysis uses a quantitative method using 3 parameters including, the ratio of the width of the valley and the height of the valley (Vf), the sinuses of the mountain face (Smf), and the drainage density (Dd). Morphotectonic analysis showed Dd values ranged from 2.2 to 2.28, indicating that the study area was included in medium density. The calculation of the Smf value is 1.06 - 2.4, indicating that the research area is included in class 2. And the calculation of the Vf value is 0.13 - 0.8 which is categorized in the medium class with a high to moderate uplift rate, and an erosion level vertically the steep valley and narrow valley floor. The Tectonic Active Index (IAT) value is divided into two, segment 1 is included in class 2, and segments 2 and 3 are included in class 1, which shows that the three segments are included in high tectonic activity. The tectonic activity in the study area produces a landscape in the form of hills with indications of the presence of geological structures in the form of faults around it. Tectonic influences and high levels of erosion in areas around rivers can be one of the sources of flood disasters.
